2020 has been a strange for many of us as we have all been affected by the global pandemic caused by Covid-19 and has had to alter the way we live forever. Many of us have been forced to stay at home to combat the spread of the virus and therefore many of us have been looking for alternative methods to try and keep fit and so we’ve compiled a list of some of the most popular methods.

One of the activities that has seen umbers go through the roof as we can see on the roads when driving around is that of seeing more and more people running. Running has always been an amazing sport to take part in to get fit, however has sometimes been neglected pre-lockdown as many would prefer to take part in an activity which they’d find a lot exciting. However, with options limited during lockdown, running became ever more popular and continues to rise in popularity.

After exercise, people in lockdown have been looking for alternative methods to stay entertained during these months and online casinos have been their saviour, they can be found here. This is because many have been working from home and therefore have had more disposable income to spend on these types of sites. Not only that, they are also offering promotional deals and sign up offers for all new customers, it’s something certainly worth checking out.

A craze that has also become big during lockdowned months has been that of Zoom which has been perfect for friends and/or family to catch up on whilst they cannot see each other. However, personal trainers such as Joe Wicks have taken advantage of these and seen a gap in the market to get people to join his live videos and do a workout in the comfort of their own home. This has been that successful that even when we came out of lockdown, numbers on his classes were still rising.

And finally, another activity that many have always wanted to start due to its benefits for both the body and the mind is that of Yoga, and 2020 has been the perfect excuse for this to happen. With all this spare time on our hands, many have looked online for online guides and tutorials on how to start yoga and with the amount of content there is, we’ve seen a rise in numbers during this time. Yoga is amazing and can really improve how your body works and feels during a challenging time.
